Power is wiser & safer when it’s dispersed. The tools for doing this already exist. The book describes a suite of mutually reinforcing reforms to delete money from politics, decentralize information & democratize decision-making.
Re-designing government is more pressing than curbing banks, wars or over-population—as ignoring it ensures that victories on these fronts will continue to be hard-won, costly and occasional.
We can only defeat challenges like pandemics, crime & economic game-rigging at the level of causes, not consequences: the level of democratic design.
